Slew Sugar Craving Balance Tea™
Herbal Support for Cravings, Metabolic Wellness & Steady Energy
Slew Sugar Craving Balance Tea™ is a caffeine-free herbal blend created for people who want a more intentional way to manage sweet cravings while supporting overall metabolic wellness. The formula combines traditionally used herbs with warming spices, refreshing mint, citrus, and tart botanicals to create a balanced cup that can fit naturally into a daily wellness routine.
This blend is especially suited for those afternoon or evening moments when cravings tend to show up. Rather than relying on an overly sweet beverage, Sugar Craving Balance Tea™ provides a flavorful herbal alternative that can be enjoyed before the time cravings usually begin.
A Thoughtfully Balanced Herbal Blend
Each herb was selected for a specific role in the formula:
Mulberry Leaf
Traditionally used in metabolic wellness formulas and commonly included in blends designed to support healthy glucose metabolism.
Ceylon Cinnamon Chips
Provides the warm, naturally sweet flavor at the heart of this tea while complementing a balanced metabolic wellness routine.
Gymnema Leaf
One of the most well-known herbs traditionally used for sweet-craving support. Gymnema may temporarily alter the perception of sweet flavors, which can make intensely sweet foods seem less appealing.
Fenugreek Seed
Naturally rich in soluble fiber and traditionally used to support digestion, satiety, and healthy glucose metabolism.
Tulsi — Holy Basil
An adaptogenic herb traditionally used for stress support. Because stress can influence eating habits and cravings, tulsi adds an important mind-body component to the blend.
Spearmint Leaf
Provides a cooling, refreshing flavor while supporting comfortable digestion.
Rooibos
A naturally caffeine-free herb with a smooth, slightly sweet flavor and naturally occurring antioxidant plant compounds.
Orange Peel
Adds a bright citrus note that helps balance the deeper herbal and bitter flavors in the formula.
Ginger Root
A warming digestive herb that supports comfortable digestion and gives the tea a lively finish.
Hibiscus
Contributes a tart, fruity flavor along with naturally occurring polyphenols and antioxidants.
Cerasee — Bitter Melon Leaf
A traditionally used bitter herb included in many Caribbean herbal wellness practices, particularly in formulas centered around digestive and metabolic support. Its naturally bitter flavor is balanced by cinnamon, rooibos, orange peel, and spearmint.
Why Bitter Herbs Matter
Not every wellness tea needs to taste like dessert. Bitter herbs such as cerasee and gymnema have traditionally been used in digestive and metabolic herbalism because bitterness can stimulate the senses and create a more complex, satisfying herbal experience.
Sugar Craving Balance Tea™ was formulated so those bitter notes are present without completely overwhelming the cup. Cinnamon, orange peel, rooibos, spearmint, and hibiscus help soften and round out the flavor.
Taste Profile
Expect a warm cinnamon-orange beginning, followed by a lightly minty and mildly earthy body with a subtle tart finish.
The cerasee and gymnema contribute some natural bitterness, while rooibos and cinnamon give the blend a smoother, more balanced character.
Overall profile:
Warm • Citrusy • Lightly Minty • Mildly Earthy • Gently Tart • Slightly Bitter
How to Prepare
Add approximately 1–2 tablespoons of tea blend to 12–16 oz of filtered water.
Bring the water and herbs to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and allow the blend to simmer for approximately 10 minutes. This helps extract the cinnamon, fenugreek, ginger, and other firmer plant materials.
Remove from the heat, cover, and allow the tea to steep for an additional 10–15 minutes.
Strain and enjoy warm or pour over ice.
Suggested Use
For craving support, enjoy 1 cup approximately 15–30 minutes before the time you normally experience strong cravings, such as late afternoon or after dinner.
The tea may also be enjoyed as part of a daily wellness routine. Pairing it with balanced meals containing adequate protein, fiber, healthy fats, proper hydration, movement, and sufficient sleep can help support more consistent eating patterns.
A Better Alternative to Sugary Drinks
Sugar Craving Balance Tea™ can also be used as a flavorful replacement for sodas, sweet teas, juices, and other heavily sweetened beverages.
Enjoy it:
Warm after meals
Over ice during the afternoon
Before your usual evening-snack window
Alongside a balanced meal
As part of a mindful wellness or weight-management routine
If additional sweetness is desired, consider using a small amount of stevia leaf rather than adding large amounts of sugar.
